Full disclosure: The Opera Media Console is not the media console I really wanted. But my preferred choice from a famous three-letter furniture company that rhymes with “FBI” was 3 times the price, so after weeks of deliberation, I “settled” for the Burrow as it was the only other unit I could find that met my airflow and (low) height requirements.
But I can honestly say I’m pleasantly surprised by the Opera. It was ridiculously easy to assemble, and feels very solid once constructed. The finish is attractive, and the doors slide smoothly. (The magnets that help the doors to close flat are a nice touch.) This unit’s depth is sufficient for larger consoles like a PS5 without jamming cables at questionable angles. And the airflow is good enough that I don’t worry about the PS5 running with the console doors closed.
For the price, it’s hard to imagine you’ll be sorry buying this console.
