In an era of throwaway fast fashion and concern around "climate change" its great to find a fabulous product made with renewable British raw materials in a British factory.
Arthur Beale, I salute you sirs! May your main mast never topple and your timbers be forever unshivered!
I think my jumper will probably outlast me, with only a little looking after. It reminds me of the hand knits my Nan used to produce with care and love, just for me. It's chunky, stretchy, knit and clever unseamed shoulder design makes for a great fit and is, I would say, true to size.
I like the design of the 'neck hole' too. It's high enough to keep you warm but not too high. It's rather flattering to my older neck as well, which is nice!
The natural grey / brown colour suits the jumper very well and is perhaps more brown and rather less grey. No matter, I like natural earth tones.
It smells very vaguely sheepy, but not in an unpleasant way, it clearly belongs in the great outdoors where I will be wearing it at every opportunity I get. Just need to get the pesky summer over with first!
