I am pumped! Finally got this AWE kit installed this week and love the new growl. Aside from a little belt squeal (during warm up, not related to the purchase), my Mk5 GTI 2.0T FSU sounds sweet. There is a tiny bit of drone noise under heavy throttle, but only before the next gear shift. No issue at cruising speed/RPM. I used a little bit of chrome polish after install, before these pictures…(Mother’s brand). Maybe 2 minutes to apply, then polish off with a cotton rag. Boom…looks AWE-some even when the sun isn’t out. Highly recommend this for a GTI. The shop that installed it does mostly BORLA, but even they loved the idle and throttle notes!
