“My husband and I have always shared a home office, which is great when we're catching up on our to-do lists in the evening; but since COVID began, we increasingly find ourselves working at home simultaneously, unable to concentrate when one or both of us is on Zoom. I bought this laptop desk so that I could instead work on the couch in my sunroom and, frankly, think I got the better deal, since it ] is the nicest room in the house. The desk/tray is very well designed. I can hold it on my lap, in which case it looks like I'm at a regular desk, or put it on the coffee table and sit back. The tray is indented to hold materials and has two cup holders (I use one for coffee, one for water). You can flip the tray in either direction depending on which hand you'd like to use to grab your cups. One drawback - it is a large item...hard to hide when not in use. It doesn't fold, for example. Also, the cupholders are quite shallow. They're cork lined to keep a cup from sliding, but they're not deep, so they won't keep a cup from toppling over. In any case, the laptop tray is a very attractive/ useful item - effectively turning any sofa or chair into a desk space.”
