“My son got #23 on the initial launch day. Having purchased two gloves from 44Pro I know what to expect from the builder and it did not disappoint. The only part of the purchase is the launch because we got it in the end of the fall season so there wasn't a ton of use other than cage.
My son is 15 and he got the full taper (feels nice in the hand), 33". He was coming from a 32" The Goods. This bat is LOUD! I do wish some thought was put into the marking for the "launch day" or whatever the logo is... reason I say whatever the logo is, is because pine tar now covers it. ...these kids and pine tar.
The barrrell is slightly smaller than the standard size that all other bats are using. I don't know if it is because of that or what it would be but the ball moves off this bat. My son isn't hitting it over the fence quite yet and honestly this bat may have a problem with that if that is what you are trying to teach. The ball moves off this bat more than any I have seen before. So it could be the barrell size or it could be the little decorative 44 logos on the bat as they do make a dimpled effect on a large portion of one side of the bat. But when I say the ball moves off the bat... I mean like Greg Maddux, MOVE. In the cage alone you are not safe throwing front toss with the way the ball comes off the bat. I do not know if that would be good or bad (I'm thinking bad) for those wanting to hit nukes but if you are looking for gaps then this bat is sick for that.
Seriously, make sure you order in enough time to get used to using it. My son does love his. And when I say it is LOUD... IT IS LOUD. You may want ear protection in the cage.”
