Reached out and they said this was normal. Have used many others types of batting gloves and didn't have that type of wear until several months in.”

“My son Brody saved his newspaper delivery money to buy a pair of custom 44 batting gloves because his friend Cruise gave him a used pair that took a beating and were still amazing!
Brody wore his for one practice and one game this summer and they both ripped under the knuckle Velcro… I contacted your warranty department and a replacement pair were sent out. This pair ripped in the exact same spots on both gloves as he was putting them on….. Comparing the new pairs to the pair that was given to him by Cruise you can feel the difference in material. The new gloves are quite inferior and feel cheap. These are meant to be worn by baseball players not ballerinas and should not be ripping as they are being slid onto a kids hands. Brody bought adult small so he could wear them for as long as possible even though he is almost 12 years old. So maybe you have inferior material for adult gloves because adults are more gentle with baseball equipment? We have quite a few friends who bought custom baseball gloves that they are incredibly happy with so what gives with the batting gloves?
Brody is embarrassed and refuses to wear these gloves and wishes he had saved his money to get Bruce Bolts. We didn’t bother contacting 44 about the ripping of the 2nd pair bc we felt there was no point in doing so. But I got an email asking how we like our product so I thought I would respond truthfully.
I looked online to see if he chose a lesser price therefore lesser quality pair of gloves and what he chose was the only option so if you have changed your material supplier or maybe have decided to have these made in China I feel like you have done a dis-service to your company and your customers and I will never buy your product again nor will I promote your product to others. I have included photos of the gloves for your reference.”
