“I wanted to love this product! My experience in using the Curl Defining Gel was ok. When first applied it has a great slip and feels light. I could tell this was a gel with light hold that may be perfect for a wash and go style! Once my hair dried, I did notice a bit of flaking from the cast of the gel. I have type 4C hair and this product didn't work for me. My younger sisters (type 3A-3C hair) LOVE it and neither have had any flaking with the gel. I would definitely recommend this to someone with a looser curl type. As it unfortunately did not work in my coils.”
