“I am historically a mousse girl but have seen so much more curl and good results from various things online from gel use and was excited to try this. I ran it through damp hair and then scrunch and go. My curls were defined, but a little crunchier than I'd hoped. I'm thinking that's just what you get from gel. Smelled great and didn't feel too heavy or sticky, just a little more crunch than I'd prefer. I haven't switched from mousse, but I wouldn't hate to use this as a backup. Still a great option.”

“Oh I love this curl gel! It’s not sticky and it’s not too thick. It works into your hair in a water-based formula thats gently hydrating and also incredibly kind to my curls. Ive always had unruly curly and frizzy hair. Teenagers these days have no idea how lucky they are to have products like this gel from 4U by TIA. Back in the 90s there were no curl products. If you were lucky, you got a vat of colored gel you shared with your entire family, and it left your hair feeling like you’ve to glue your hair to your scalp with modgepodge. This stuff is good as gold, but for your curls. My curls are actually touchable, soft, frizz free, shiny and smell so good.”
“I was excited to try this hair gel for my curls. It did a very nice job in defining my curls without leaving any crunchy residue. The only downside is in the packaging. It has a concave lid which causes the gel to sometimes pool in it. A flat lid or pump may have been a better choice.”
“I have tried many curling gel or defining gel. This one is the best. I love the smell. It keeps your hair soft. When it dries, it leaves your hair full of volume. Since this product works so well, I am going to try the other products(shampoo, conditioner).”
“I used this defining gel after a wash day and after a workout. Overall, this worked very well. It was light weight, not sticky, and has a mild smell. I found that it worked equally as well on wash day and touch ups as long as I sprayed my hair down. However, it didn't provide as much definition as other brands I've tried. This was fine for everyday, but it may not be my go to on a special occasion.”
