“Awsome product. The Garmin Varia RTL515 Radar has completely transformed my cycling experience. This compact yet powerful device offers a game-changing level of safety and awareness on the road. The radar functionality is remarkable, alerting me to approaching vehicles from behind well in advance. This proactive warning system is flawless allowing me to adjust my position. I cannot and will not ride without it. Highly recommended”
“This is the best cycling accessory I've purchased in a long time. It definitely makes me feel safer while riding, as I don't have to constantly look over my shoulder to see if cars are coming.”
“Click and collect was seamless and the price was the best in town.
Great way to get an Easter gift also. Partner booked and paid online under my account, just sent me to the store to pick up. I gave my phone number (99Bikes registered) and walked out with this little beauty.”
“The neck and shoulder pain/tightness that I used to experience has gone. This is one of the best products I've purchased. It works really well and ideally should be coupled with a mirror. I'm using the Garmin 520 Edge Plus GPS so it only displays a dot and not whether it's a car or truck that's approaching but that's a minor gripe. Can't say it has provided any false negatives but I get the occasional false positive, a check in the mirror soon sorts that out, but sometimes it will disconnect a few times during a commute, although it automatically reconnects, and you have to reset the mode (if you prefer the flashing tail light). Battery life is around 9 hours or so. Overall, this is an excellent piece of equipment and makes you feel much safer on the road as you are far more aware of traffic behind you with the added bonus that you greatly reduce the amount of shoulder checks that you need to do. Have been using for one year now.”
“It's hard to believe it's taken so long to buy one. Absolutely fantastic when riding solo or with a small group. My favorite feature is letting the rider know how many cars are trailing the initial one.”
