“I was doing a nsw road trip and my last rack was in danger of falling apart and was causing bike frames to hit each other.
Purchased this rack in Sydney. Rack was fitted really well, easy to setup. Needed a few hours to sort wheel clamp positions and bike configurations and after a bit of trial and error, successfully mounted 2x bmx and 2x adult Mtb.
Straps and top bar clamps are a great feature. I used pool noodles to protect the bike frames from wear.
Rack is very heavy to drop down for boot access and requires 2 people, but not an issue after a few practice runs.
I was very happy and confident using it for the remaining road trip and was easy enough for the kids to help with.
Would recommend for multiple MTB or larger bikes and doing decent road trips etc. 2500km completed, no issues”
“Great rack, good value and very solid! I like that fact that I can set it up with only two bikes, or add the extra section to carry four when required. Fairly straightforward to set up although requires a bit of thought as to which length support you want on the vertical (or you could just read the instructions if you like cheating).”

However, when I installed the Yakima FourTimer 4 Bike Hitch Rack I found that a part was missing a clamp. I made contact with 99 Bikes (the retailer), provided photos of the missing part, and I am now waiting for 99 Bikes (for about a week) to confirm they are doing something about it.”
