“I thought the concept of these headphones to sit outside your ears was quite good for being able to go about normal activities while wearing. And also because I don't like the increase risk of ear infections etc from wearing in-ear headphones for long periods.
The sound produced it fairly good. I find they sometimes don't sit in the optimum position so I have to play it much louder than needed. If you play very loud it vibrates too much.”
“This is the second Aftershokz product I have purchased. My original was the Titanium mini which I had for over two years. I only looked at new ones when I lost the originals (sad face). I read a couple of reviews and saw a few video reviews and decided to go to the newest model. Mainly due to the weight and thickness (or should I say thinness). I originally purchased my first pair for cycling - and I must say I found them outstanding - but I couldn't wear them for hours on end because the pressure against my cheek bone would eventually get to me, especially when you add sunglasses and cap to the mix. The reduction in weight and slimming down of design has made the new aeropex mini exceptionally comfortable - to the point I forget I have them on! I followed the measuring guide on their site to make sure the mini was the right size for me, and it's perfect. I love, love, love them and use them to listen to everything, all the time. I listen to podcasts, music, talk on the phone - while I'm cycling, on public transport, cleaning, out walking the dogs - doesn't matter. I love the ease of the magnetic charging cord - and they give you two of them! The headphones are flexible and strong - and they come in a cool flexible rubber case. I haven't had them run out of power on me yet - and I listen constantly on my days off - and just charge them up overnight - though they reckon they only need a couple of hours to fully charge. Apparently you can put ear plugs in (which, conveniently they also supply in a little case) and that gives you the noise cancelling sort of experience - but I like being able to listen to my surroundings - especially when cycling - so I haven't tried that. I haven't had an issue with the sound quality or my enjoyment of listening to music because of it. I can whole heartedly recommend these headphones. They are worth their weight in gold.”
“Haven’t used it for long but enjoying it so far. Just noticing though that it does occasionally cause a bit of discomfort where it sits on the ear. Hair must also be tied up so that it is not in the way of the titanium band making it feel cumbersome at times.”
