“Never had one before, but I should have bought it years ago. It fits my e-bike (mountain) very well, and the holes where I can get my hands through to thread a lock... means it 'kinda' locks up on the bike.
If they wanted to steal the cover, they'd have to cut it and thereby wreck it. So, it would probably be easy to rip off if they really wanted it.
It's fairly thick and heavy-weight so it's strong.
There's only a couple of little gripes getting it on and off. There's a 'tie' thing at the back that keps getting caught on everything from tyre treads to pedals and stuff when I'm trying to get it off. If I 'start' at the string when removing around the back wheel, it works 'better'. I wish there was a way I could fold it up better, as I lock it to the rack at home when I leave. And it takes up a lot of space.
Also, I do sometimes find myself reluctant to use the bike because it's a bit of a mission to get it off and on again because of my double lock set up. Removing the cover does take some of the 'immediacy' out of the convenience... but, it stops the bike from becoming dusty and dirty, so the payoff is probably worth it.”
