“Since i got it on december 2023 I had some issues with the reading and connectivity of it. My max heart rate is 200bpm and with this item it went once up to 222bpm (not reliable), it work some days... some days dont.
last week (mid June 2024) it stoped working. I have order a different brand. I wont never come back to this product”
“Poorest performance I have seen in a heart rate monitor, dropping in and out of connection constantly even on the trainer, let alone on the active Mtb trails. When connected it’s often way above or below by Apple Watch Ultra or my new max heart rate is 213bpm even getting it at half price it’s not worth it.”
“Good reliable unit. I prefer the wahoo strap, but at less than half the price you cannot go wrong. Note, if you have the wahoo strap you can connect the unit to that strap, the fit isn't perfect, but it works.”
“After a week or so of use, I noticed the HR values being recorded could not possibly be accurate. For example, I'm 67 yrs old, & my max HR at age 17 was 220. In recent years, my max HR has been about 160, measured by a Garmin HR unit, which is consistent with normal max HR decline with age. But suddenly, the Jet Black unit started telling me max HR was 200 on a ride with only zone 1 to zone 2 exertion. This was clearly very inaccurate & I returned the Jet Black unit for a refund which, after some discussion, was given. I therefore cannot recommend this HR monitor at all.”
“Does what’s its mean to do, but when it’s first opened it is quite tight. The battery that it comes with is always dead so buy a battery with the unit.”
