I really love my new e-bike, it's so much lighter and more flexible than my larger step thru. I also like how I am able to sit up straight, and not hunch over the handlebars like every other bike I've had - this helps with my back problems. Although I have only had it folded down once, it does fold down pretty small so even if you have a small car you will still be able to get it in there. It has a lot of power for such a small bike and is very comfortable to ride. There is also plenty of room on the back for a basket or crate and my little dog loves sitting in the back and feeling the wind though his fur. Issues - the brakes are squeakly already and this started within 2 weeks of purchasing. I live in a very hilly area so just reducing the gears isn't enough and I do have to use the brakes a lot. This may not be an issue for someone who lives in a flat area. I have had the bike 2 months now and use it daily. There is a safety issue which is very concerning - when you are stopping the bike if you press both brakes (not just one) and release it straight away the bike will not come to a stop, or even slow down much, unless the gear is on 0. If the gear is 1 or higher it will lurch forward and keep on going, and just pressing one of the brakes will not stop it. I have now had 3 near accidents because of this and always try to reduce the gears to 0 on the electric side (you do not have to reduce it on the manual side) before I stop. Despite this I am really happy with this bike. If it weren't for this I would give the bike 5 stars.

It's not quite what I expected, a bit hard to pedal, unless on flat ground, with no electric assistance, like an exercise bike with the tension or resistance turned up a fair way. However, this allows for some slight resistance when going down gentle hills. Due to wet weather, I haven't really ridden it a lot, but I'm getting used to it. The electric assistance aspect takes a bit of getting used to, but in time it will be fine.
