“Replaced a recently purchased Garmin Edge 840 where the map detail kept disappearing. No such problem with the ROAM. I immediately enjoyed the large display and contrast with the screen being visible even in direct sunlight. Sure no touchscreen but what giod is a touchscreen if there is no map detail!
I upload routes from Komoot and that works flawlessly. The unit also works well with Garmin radar and cadence sensor.”
“This product would not charge properly and would not accept an update. Currently this has been returned. Customer service not helpful at all when I called. Two weeks to arrive in Darwin and was despatched out of Victoria poor delivery provider. I have to foot the bill to send the item back and most probably will have to wait anther 2 weeks to receive a replacement.”
