Opera Media Console Reviews

Opera is a modern media console designed for home theater enthusiasts and those who would like them to keep their enthusiasm out of sight. The slatted accordion doors are acoustically transparent, so you can keep them closed while enjoying pure, unmuffled audio from your soundbar, perched conveniently on the full-width shelf. The long, low profile is perfectly proportionate to today's big TVs, while the contemporary design keeps your living room looking clean.

Window shop this one no more!! I kept it in my cart for some time then when it went on a sale I splurged. I consider the price tag to be pretty high, however, the product is worth it. The packaging was very intentional and hardly any plastic which I personally love, but assembly was also very direct and easy. I searched and searched for something that would fit our space better and allow the game systems to have circulation. I am very satisified with my purchase and highly recommend this product.

Love it. Great build quality. Solid. Easy to assemble. Only wish it was an inch or two deeper so it could accomodate my Sonos sub. Awesome console, I highly recommend.

It came well packaged and was easy to assemble. It has a higher end veneer look that is ok but I feel like it will nick and scratch easy. If you have a larger room you are placing it in, it will look a bit tiny. I probably should have spent a few hundred more and purchased something a little better quality. For the price it is fine but nothing special.

So first off delivery took forever! I could swear they brag about fast delivery on their website but it took basically a month. Anyways. Once I got it I was pleased to see the care that went into the packaging. Nothing was damaged and it had lots of packing material to keep it safe. It was fairly easy to put together. Took me about 30 mins alone. It’s designed in a way that seems to hold its self together. There is only 7 wood screws you have to install at on the bottom and it’s one of the last things to do. Everything up to that point basically snapped together. The wood is like MDF with a vinyl wood veneer on it. That was a little disappointing to find out. I figured for the price it was solid wood but it’s high quality mdf and very heavy and solid regardless. The veneer was a good quality and actually has some texture to it. So unless you built it you couldn’t really tell. The legs I think are solid wood though. Overall the build process and final look I enjoyed. My biggest complaints are the stickers. Those were a pain to remove. And the Alan wrench screw driver you get with the console sucks! I suggest using your own real screw driver. The accordion doors were pretty easy to install but do pay attention to how they are installed and read the instructions cause you can mess them up easily and potentially break them. But once on they work ok. It’s all wood on wood so they don’t open the smoothest but I personally don’t open them often so it’s not a big deal. Oh one thing I was also a little bummed on is it’s ALOT smaller than I figured. It looks large in the photos but it’s very short off the floor and is like maybe 6ft long maybe shorter. I have my 65inch tv on it and there is about 3-6 inches on either side. After I built it I was a little bummed as it wasn’t what I was expecting but once I placed my tv and some decorative items on it and filled it with my gear it grew on me quick and now I love the look of it. I think it’s a quality piece. However if you have a large living room idk if this is the console for you as even in my small room it seems a bit undersized but I’ll make it work. I plan to add some side tables or large plants near it to fill out the space. Some things to note is one of the inner shelves has a sticker that says can support up to a 55lb tv. My tv is 79 lbs and seems to be supported fine. CS told me the inside shelf could hold 100lbs and the top hold 200. I’m 6’5” 300 lbs and I sat on the center and it held my weight fine. However the console does have some flex specifically the front 3 inches or so where the doors sit. There just isn’t any support there. Also one gripe is the height of the inner shelves isn’t very high. I had a hard time hooking my sound bar (I have a Sonos arc which they show in the pics for this) and a ps5 and it barely fits. It’s got enough air flow but cable management wasn’t great. Oh the sound bar sounds great with the doors closed so that was a bonus! Overall I think it’s a quality piece. Maybe a tad overpriced for what it is but I think it’ll be a nice addition to my living for a long while.

My first purchase from Burrow and based on the quality and ease of assembly I will absolutely order again. Walnut tone is beautiful, so much storage, and perfectly proportioned. Couldn’t be happier.
