Opera Media Console Reviews

Opera is a modern media console designed for home theater enthusiasts and those who would like them to keep their enthusiasm out of sight. The slatted accordion doors are acoustically transparent, so you can keep them closed while enjoying pure, unmuffled audio from your soundbar, perched conveniently on the full-width shelf. The long, low profile is perfectly proportionate to today's big TVs, while the contemporary design keeps your living room looking clean.

It’s really nice to have a tv stand that allows remotes to work through the doors. This piece is solid and beautifully made. Unfortunately the doors do not smoothly open and close. And more unfortunate than that when I reached out to customer service they essentially told me to open the doors from the center despite my explaining that the whole track wasn’t functioning smoothly.

Very impressed with packaging ease of assembly. Love it so much that I routinely check Burrow for other furniture to buy.

Very hard to find a media console for apartment or small living areas that have cable opening at the back, is a solid piece, and has a perfect size for most soundbards. I highlight recommend this console!

Took a while to get after ordering. Pretty easy to assemble. Kind of mix between Japanese style joinery and screwing things together. Did it single-handedly. There were a couple of holes that needed to be aligned slightly better and one of them I accidentally screwed through the wood at the wrong angle because of that, but thankfully you can’t see it. The sliding doors are great and it looks fantastic in our living room! Quality is 5/5 stars

When I purchased this console a couple of months ago, I was surprised as to how easy the assembly went. The instructions did not have a lot of words, but for a change the pictures were clear and easy to figure out. I assembled it alone, but it is heavy and another person would be handy to have when you have to reposition it. After using the console for a couple of months, I’m very pleased. It’s a quality piece of furniture. In my case it replaced a tv stand that I bought when I was younger and was, to be truthful, ugly. Now I have a piece of furniture that looks like something an adult would by. The components inside the console work well even with the doors closed and the sound was fine. The only reason I’m divining it four stars is I recently purchased a sound bar with Dolby Atmos that sends some sound up to fill the room and I’m not sure how it would work with the soundbar on one of the shelves inside the console with the doors closed.

The opera media console was shipped in two boxes. After unpacking all of the pieces, the assembly directions were very clear. I have never assembled furniture like this so easily. The unboxing of the pieces took longer than the assembly. This speaks to the care to prevent any damage in shipping to any of the pieces. The materials are all high quality and I appreciated the innovative slide and lock assembly rather than the use of cam locks. Assembled it looks exactly as it does on the Burrow website. Once loaded with electronic gear, it has excellent air flow ventilation and all of my different types of remotes work well through the wood slat doors. This console equals the quality of consoles selling for $2000 or more. I was reluctant to try assembling this as I have had it trying to put together Ikea type furniture. I now have no hesitation in buying more furniture from Burrow given the ease of assembly.
