“I got this as a poor man’s Eames. It looks nice in the wood version and is easy to assemble. Came very quickly which is unusual for furniture these days. Very well packed. I am not sure the lumbar pillow helps. It is a hard chair. If it had thicker and softer padding it would be more comfortable for longer stretches of time.”

“I love my new Vesper wood and fabric chair and ottoman. As a 6'2" person, I am impressed by how comfortable it is. It's a great chair for reading as well as working on my laptop with, and it's wide enough for my broad shoulders.”

“Pros: The design is beautiful!! Seriously stunning for a MCM lover. The fabric is very durable, and looks great. It's a very comfortable seat for my husband and I, as well as our kids. It's so comfortable, that once you're in, it's hard to get out. Construction is solid, very good quality; you definitely get what you pay for. Cons: here are the only two reasons I did not give it five stars: 1. I feel like the back could have been higher to allow a place to rest your head. It would have been that much more comfortable. 2. The lumbar pillow gets mixed reviews in our home. My husband who is 6 ft. loves it and is more comfortable sitting in the chair with the lumbar pillow than without. I am 5 ft., and for me (and the kids) the lumbar pillow is not comfortable we always take it off before lounging. Overall, looks stunning and is very comfy!”

“The Vesper Chair and Ottoman are just as comfortable as they claim to be. A great option for a lounging chair without all the visual bulk. Well-designed, well-packed, and super easy to put together. The only reason for the 4 star is that the chair is wider than the photos make it seem, a bit too wide for me, but we happily kept it anyway. Note: we had a technical issue with an install bolt in our chair, and the company immediately responded and made it right. I'd highly recommend them!”

“Waited for almost two months. First thing I noticed after assembly is the big gap between the seat and the back rest, which was not shown on the website. The seat depth is quite shallow, so you can pretty much only sit upright. I would return it if the process is easy.”
