Shift Sleeper Sofa Reviews

4.3 Rating 27 Reviews
Read Burrow Reviews

It's the sleeper sofa that works the day and night shift with equal grace. First things first: Shift makes for a stylish, supportive couch that can fit just about anywhere, because this is Burrow, and so of course it comes in easy-to-manage boxes that you can fit up steep stairs and through narrow doors. But it really shines when you have guests: the seat unfolds to make a genuine queen-sized sleep surface, and the arm cushion inserts can be removed and slipped into standard pillowcases, saving space in your linen closet. With Shift, you're truly be the host with the most.

I practically bought this sofa out of necessity. I will have family staying at my house and I wanted something comfortable, practical and of good quality

Overall very happy! The material is great and color is saturated. The comfort of the sofa as a bed is wonderful. My only concern is it was much harder to assemble than I expected. The pre-drilled components were slightly off making it a strain to complete.

Easy set-up and the cushions are very sturdy and comfortable. My kids love lounging on the pullout mattress. Totally recommend this sofa.

While the fabric looks nice and the sofa itself is nice once assembled, the quality of components did not live up to my expectations for the price of the sofa. There are large tollerance gaps, things that did not line up, screw holes that were installed 15 degrees off axis, glue lines at fabic wood intersections, etc. In a few areas i had to get a razor out to cut away the plastic to expose the screw holes. Was expecting better at this price point.

Perfect is hard to achieve, but this sofa checks a whole lot of must-haves. Good looks, comfortable sofa, comfortable bed, easy (really easy) assembly and affordable. My son is now thinking of buying one for his home office.

We were looking for a pullout without uncomfortable (and heavy) springs and went for the Shift. The color is great and fabric is mostly cat claw-resistant, and the couch size is awesome. We can fit 4 people at a time which is a win in our book. We especially love the sleeper sofa unfolded—great for guests but also for comfier movie nights. Folded up, it’s a decent sofa, but lacks good edge support.

Love the sofa. It was easy to assemble. Love the green color. Looks great in our living room. We enjoy opening it up to watch TV. The back pillows are quite puffy, I take them off when I lie down on the couch. Plan to buy another one for our vacation home this winter.

The color is great but the seats are a little too firm. The assembly was more complicated more complicated than expected or was told.
