Shift Sleeper Sofa Reviews

It's the sleeper sofa that works the day and night shift with equal grace. First things first: Shift makes for a stylish, supportive couch that can fit just about anywhere, because this is Burrow, and so of course it comes in easy-to-manage boxes that you can fit up steep stairs and through narrow doors. But it really shines when you have guests: the seat unfolds to make a genuine queen-sized sleep surface, and the arm cushion inserts can be removed and slipped into standard pillowcases, saving space in your linen closet. With Shift, you're truly be the host with the most.

The shift sleeper is a great sofa that converts into a bed. It is super comfortable and a great size. Just make sure you have some good pillows specifically for sleeping because the pillows that come with it are tough.

I purchased this sofa because I have a smaller space and wanted something that would fit nicely and it does. I like that I can pull it out so easily into a bed for company. I have personally slept on it for a week while waiting for my new bed to be delivered and have found it to be comfortable. It is a firm seat so don't expect to sink into it. Came in 3 manageable boxes over 2 days. I put this sofa together on my own and it was relatively wasy. The instructions are very good. I particulary like the quality of the materials, from the fabric to the frame. I'll be enjoying this sofa for a long time!

The sofa works fine as a bed. It's a little firm but not uncomfortable. Unfortunately, as a couch it is quite uncomfortable. Since it is more often used as a couch than a bed, we will likely be selling it and looking for a different solution.

We chose this product over similar items from Ikea. It was more expensive, but we purchased this because we appreciated idea of the included shipping and the std. queen size. In my view, the manner in which the product is shipped and assembled required some design compromises that diminish its overall value. The thin backrest and side panels utilizing pillows as cushions diminish its comfort as a couch and, like all sleeper sofas, it's not great as a bed either. The covering also sags a bit. In value, it doesn't seem like it was worth the extra money. To be fair, we have not lived with the Ikea product, so we could have a different opinion after a few months experience with that.

We have a little flip door into our attic, and the fact that this was shippable and move-in-able in smaller pieces was a key factor. Its been slept on once with positive reviews and its comfortable to sit on. I'm unsure of the longevity of it, as it looks like an elevated IKEA couch, but time will tell about its wear. We wont' have too much traffic up there, so I expect it will work beautifullly. We had a couple shipping hiccups, but eventually it got sorted.

Easy to put together and comfortable as a bed, but not so much as a couch.
