“I would love to leave a 5 star review of my Burrow couch but I haven’t even been able to put it together. After looking at what felt like a million options I finally decided to purchase the Burrow Union Sofa after sitting on it in store. It was amazing and I was so excited for it to arrive. I ordered my couch in mid December and was told it would ship after 2-4 weeks. After a few weeks I got an email from Burrow that they were experiencing delays and that my couch wouldn’t ship until January 19th. To my pleasant surprise, the boxes started arriving on January 10th. Unfortunately, one of the boxes in my shipment was stolen- the box contained just the wooden legs of the couch. I immediately reached out to Burrow explaining the issue and was sent an automatic reply that I would hear back from them within 24-76 hours. I did not hear back from them for an entire week, 168 hours. When I finally got a reply, the rep was very sympathetic and said they would try to “make this right”. They said they were reaching out to “the appropriate team” and asked if I could send photo or video evidence of the theft. I reached out to my super to try to get security camera evidence but he is not very responsive and has not provided me with anything. I sent screenshots of my conversation with him when I reported the theft and when he originally checked the footage and confirmed the theft. When they finally replied to that email they said they sent along my screenshots to “the appropriate team” and would let me know when they received an update from them. No one has given me any indication that Burrow will in fact be able to replace my missing pieces or given me any timeline for how long the “appropriate team” will take to give them an “update”. I’ve tried to be patient but at this point I’m getting very frustrated. I have ALL of the parts of the couch EXCEPT the legs!!!!! I really thought this would be a simple fix and they could just resend the missing legs. At this point I don’t know what to do. The huge Burrow boxes are taking up practically all of the space my small NYC apartment. I figured that since Burrow markets to people who live in small spaces and who move a lot they would have some experience with NYC package theft which is unfortunately a common thing now. I’m just at a loss at this point. I have almost all the pieces to a couch I want to love. I don’t know whether to return it and start all over with a different company or keep waiting. I’ve been sitting on the floor for over a month. I’m leaving this review in a last ditch effort to actually get some progress made on this situation. Please Burrow!!!!! Purchasing this couch has become a complete nightmare. I just want it to be over.”

“Bought the three-seat union sofa in papyrus. Absolutely love the style and color. Super comfortable and great for naps. Only complaint is how difficult it is to put together. Took two people several hours to get all the pieces assembled. Once put together, super sturdy and looks great.”

“Very good quality fabric and the craftsmanship. It is on the firm side but still super comfortable to take a nap. My favorite is how easy it is to switch the pillows or take pillowcases off for cleaning as well as how deep the sofa is. I’m not a small person but can lay down comfortably with space left”

“This couch is incredibly solid, and I am still rushing home after work to lay around on it. I put everything together by myself, which did take a couple of hours as I zhoozhed screws into place, etc. It was well worth it for such a lovely sofa. Big shout-out to all the folks at Burrow for such fabulous customer service, and for actually doing everything you said you would do - that's a BIG deal these days and I really, really appreciated everything.”

“Couch was delivered a week or so after ordering. It was quite easy to put together with the instructions and did not need any additional tools. The cushions were a little dense but having spoken with the sales associate at the showroom we were expecting it to be a little different, so hopefully with some time and sitting it'll become a little bit softer.”

“As condo dwellers who have had issues with moving couches in buildings with small elevators, my partner and I knew a modular system was the way to go when shopping for a new couch. Thankfully we live in a city with a showroom and it was very helpful being able to sit on one before committing to purchasing and compare it to more expensive options we had considered. It's easy to assemble, although we initially had a little hiccup trying to line up the parts and found we needed to put them together at a slight angle before everything aligned together nicely. The only other critique would be that we would like the armrests to be higher to be able to sit with our backs resting against them. The couch is comfortable without being too plush, and the seats are deep but still easy to get up from. Would love to see more color options!”

“I would give this 4.5 stars if I could. The couch itself is AMAZING. It's wide enough for someone to sleep on it as a make-shift twin bed and it's super easy to clean. My ".5" deduction comes from two holes being drilled slightly off from where they needed to be. I ended up having to widen both the holes by 1/8" so that I could get the bolts into the seatback on two of the sections. Not a big deal, but if I didn't have power tools, I would have had to return those sections for new pieces. Overall I would highly recommend this couch.”
