“We purchased a Burrow sofa after doing online research for “best flat-pack sofas.” We needed to furnish a room, but had to contend with a very awkward doorway. This was the perfect solution. Not only were we able to move it in easily, but we were very impressed with the quality of the parts, and the leather. It’s comfortable. It looks great. I will be adding more pieces.”

“We love our sofas look and feel. The color is perfect and the feel is soft and smooth. A great napping sofa! 2 things I didn’t expect: 1. We did brass/gold legs and they turn in a bit rather than stand straight. 2. Because the back cushions are not secured, they tend to slip down and not stay flat against the back. We have the 3 seater and if you’re sitting on a end and put your arm on the back of the sofa the back cushion slides down and out of place. I put a non slip carpet back behind them to help with the problem and it does help to an extent.”

“I love my Burrow Nomad Leather Sofa! I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment without an elevator, so a modular sofa was a must. The added sleep kit also attracted me to this sofa. The couch was easy to put together and is very comfortable. The leather is high quality, and it looks beautiful in my living room. I highly recommend ordering the bolster pillows for extra comfort. The only thing Burrow could improve is its fulfillment times. In stock items can take 1-3 weeks to ship which is disappointing considering how much you pay for everything.”

“The sofa looks exactly as I expected. Seems good quality and sturdy. No complaints about the finished product. Shipping was quick, and there was no damage to the contents. Communications and website pages are out of date on the number of boxes. Cushions are very firm, which I don’t mind, and believe they will soften a little over time. I really like the look and the leather. I do have feedback on assembly. I want to point out that the instructions, and several places on the website, state that the process of assembling the sofa is much easier with two people. I assembled this alone, it is very certain that any difficulty I encountered during assembly would have been eased, possibly eliminated, with the help of a second person. That being said, I do think there are some minor design changes to the hardware that could make the process easier for one person, and probably even for two. First off, sliding together and securing the bottom latches of the individual seat sections couldn’t be easier. Where the challenges come is with attaching the arms, and the closing the levers on the sides. I perceive two separate issues with how the latch hardware works that make this harder than it needs to be. Pushing together the sections to enable the latch to clear the right spot on the peg is difficult. No doubt easier with two people (with one person pushing). But on the arm where the latch is on the arm itself, I imagine this is somewhat hard no matter what. It is also difficult to keep all the pegs in their holes while doing this. I would suggest deviating from the instructions and closing the bottom latches first to keep the pegs from coming out when you are trying to close the side lever. Otherwise, three people may be needed. The reason this lever is the hardest to close is that it is really inset into the arm with the filling puffing up all around it. It really needs to be pushed in to the max to get the point where the lever gate lines up past the right point on the peg to close. Once you get past this point the lever itself (all of them, not just the arm one) are really hard to close with your hands, there isn’t enough leverage. It helped to have something hard to push it closed. It doesn’t move easily. I think there may be some simple changes to solve both issues with the process. First, if they were to tapper the part of the peg that has to go past the gate, and also taper the part of the gate that makes contact with the peg (like two opposite wedges sliding on each other), then even if not perfectly lined up, the tapper with help both parts to push past each other and into place. Second, I understand the short lever, which provides very little leverage. It has to be short to sit flush when closed and not poke out. However, I think added leverage is possible. A handle extension could be provided that slips onto the lever handle, then slides off to be used on all levers. This would provide increased leverage making it easier to move, while still allowing the closed lever to side flush. This extension could also be shaped to be easier on the hand. The lever as it is today, is thin and cuts into the hand/fingers, which makes it even harder to push against. Overall, not bad at all. Attaching the arms is where most people seem to struggle. I do believe very minor changes can solve this. I can see from old videos that they are made minor changes over time. A few more may make a very good cough even better, and “get ready to do very little” even more true.”

“Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The connections are sturdy and feels solid when all together. Went to the store to sit on one before committing and was very comfortable in store. This sofa arrived a bit firm, but was told it will loosen over time. Very happy with the look and style. The leather is very pretty and feels great.”
