“Overall happy with the purchase. Was impressed with shipping, delivered within a week of ordering and everything (6 boxes) was delivered at once. Assembly is also super friendly and can be done alone - from unboxing, to putting together, to positioning in your room (which I was nervous about but couch is lightweight). Only complaints are the boxes had a slight smell that I was sensitive to (luckily the couch doesn’t have the same smell) and the color is darker than I expected.”

“Some of the comments concerned me. However, we gave it a shot. Sofa was extremely timely. Super easy to handle and get boxes into apartment. Easy to put together. Sturdier/higher quality than I had expected. And, the material is excellent. It is a firmer couch which we like. No regrets. Fabulous purchase.”

“I intentionally waited a few months to give my review. I have the Nomad velvet sofa in jade with the ottoman. Delivery timing was great, not a long wait. Unfortunately, the delivery left all the boxes on the sidewalk in front of my apartment building in Chicago. Didn't even bring them inside the lobby. Obviously, not Burrow's fault. Thankfully, having a dolly/handtruck made moving the boxes not too bad. You'll need that or at least a second person. I ended up putting it together myself, which I don't recommend. I did it and the couch has held firm for months, but it was unnecessarily frustrating. The Nomad couch is much firmer than I expected. On one hand, I think this will be great for longevity. I also love that I can flip and rotate the cushions to ensure one spot doesn't get more worn out. On the other hand, if I had been shopping based on feel, I probably wouldn't have settled on this couch. That's why I'm 98% instead of 100% happy. The color and fabric are great. The jade isn't too bright and I'd say it's almost more of a forest green. Also, I wish the ottoman was just a little smaller. I wanted a moveable foot stool, but honestly, it always seems in the way. If I could go back, I'd probably not order it OR I'd get the attached chaise. So if you want a VERY firm sofa with clean lines that edges toward formal instead of ultra casual, you'll love the Nomad.”

“I did a lot of looking around for a new couch and finally invested in this one, and I’m so happy with it! The fabric is soft and cozy, and the color looks gorgeous with the aesthetic of my apartment. I can tell the quality is just so much better than all of the other couches I’ve owned before. My cat has always relentlessly destroyed my furniture and i read that velvet is a good material to withstand scratching which is why i opted for the velvet material. Unfortunately my cat did immediately start scratching the sides and there is some very slight pilling, but I think now that I’ve trimmed his nails he wont be able to scratch through the material. If worst comes to worst, the arms are detachable and could hopefully be replaced after a couple years if they become damaged. The couch plus the ottoman arrived in six boxes, and I was able to carry them up the stairs into my apartment and put the whole thing together myself! Assembly was extremely easy - the majority of it all latches together, I only used a screw driver to tighten up some of the legs. Overall I’m so happy that I finally invested in some quality furniture, I really think this will last me many years!”

“I absolutely love my couch! It’s so comfy and with the 2 ottomans I got it’s perfect for entertaining. It’s stunning and makes me feel so fancy. I have had nothing but compliments on it and it was very easy to assemble.”

“I'll start out by saying that we are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this couch is. We've had it for two months now and have enjoyed lounging on it, in addition to the occasional nap. A perfect couch for this phase of our life where we are starting to adult. I will add a disclaimer that this couch makes some adjustment noises when you sit on it. This doesn't bother us, but definitely something to keep in mind before purchasing. Also, as you can see in the comparative pictures of the ends of our couch, one side continues to slip from its locked position. We don't see any issue with this right now, but again, any person looking to purchase this couch should ask themselves if they are okay with this possible downside of a DIY couch.”
