“Great idea. Unfortunately, it has two issues due to the material it is made from.
The locating tab on the locking pin is such a small piece of plastic it has no structural integrity.
The lock barrel fell out when I tried to remove the key and I had to re-insert it. The lock doesn't offer much protection from theft as the locking pin is quite easily removed when locked.
Have to say I am a little disappointed but when the awning is mounted it feels pretty solid.
On the plus side, if the wind catches your awning, this should break before your roof racks do.”
