“These tires are comfy and fast”

“I use the Snoqualmie for mixed gravel, mostly grade 2 but sections of road as well (Steamboat Springs CO, no sharp rocks). Mounting on Enve G23 wheels, they inflated to +/-43mm. Weight was 314/317 per tire. Mounting was extremely simple and had no sidewall bleed using Silca tire sealant. I weigh 170# and I inflated the tires at 32.5 front, 34 rear (using Silca PSI guide). The ride is superbly supple. My previous tires were Snoqualmie Pass Endurance casings which are excellent tires but not as Supple and not as fast rolling. On my first ride (45 miles, 3K vert on mostly grade 2 including extreme washboard, sand bogs and rough, rocky sections) the Standard casings performed flawlessly. They have excellent grip and only start to slip on 10%-14% climbs when there's hard-packed base with fine loose on top but shifting your weight aft will remedy this. They corner very well with no slippage. What was most surprising was that the Standard casings were .6 mph faster over the 45 miles than the Endurance casings and my ride was 5 watts lower than the typical on this route! If your frame can fit these, ride em'.”
