“This tire punches well above its weight off pavement. I got my best time up Shafter Fire rd with these! On the road they are practically as fast as the Barlow Pass (also 38mm). I've done seriously non scientific comparisons on rolling resistance with my GF who rides the 28mm RH tires. The difference between the two on the road appears to be merely some hum from the knobs. If this is the biggest tire you can fit it is worth trying for all your mixed terrain needs as it excels at uphills, downhills, and corners on all surface types.”
