“I have ran Rene Herse tires for about five years now after trying a few different brands. Rene Herse with the Extralight casing has exceptional feel, they seem to almost stick to the road. One thing I noticed right after I switched was the confidence these tires inspire and I found myself needing to use my brakes far less when descending. Some online reviews have complained about punctures with these tires but that hasn't been my experience at all. I had my own concerns about punctures but after reading an article on the Rene Herse website about bike tires, punctures and running lower pressures I gave them a try and I haven't looked back. BTW, I had my fair share of puctures with tires promising tremendous "protection". These tires also run super quiet (which I love). Obsviously they are not the cheapest tires on the market but to me there is enough difference in ride quality to more than justify the price.”
