“My son loves this jacket. He used it fishing in 50 degree temp. Stayed dry and warm. He is about 5'6 14 yrs old. 110 lbs. I did not know his coat size well and took a guess. We ordered a size to small for him. I had to return 2x and this company is great on their return policy. I got customer service immediately and they paid for the return shipping. “I recently purchased a large for my 13-year-old son based on the the size chart and the recommended age the coat was too tight and the sleeves were 4” short. I exchanged it for an XL based on recommendations from an Aftco representative. Once receiving the XL the sleeves were still short and the coat did not fit I had to return this item Aftco did not refund my full amount I believe they charged me for shipping which is understandable but it cost me money based on their miss information I ended up ordering a men’s small for my son that runs a little big for him but he should grow into it. I also did not receive the free mask that they offer I have been trying to get this mask with several other purchases and it has not come yet.”

“I bought a youth large for my son based on the size chart and the recommended age. I had to exchange it for an XL because the sleeves were 4 inches short and the body of the coat was tight once I received the XL the sleeves were about 2 inches short The body seem to fit OK. the recommended age was 16 to 18-year-olds my son is 13 only 5’4” and thin. we had to return the XL and ordered a men’s small which is a little bigger but at least he’ll grow into it they do not have a size for the in between youth XL and a men’s small.”

“The jacket was great. We had to request the next size bigger for my 12 year old as the L was way to small fit. I requested the XL as it fit better even though the size chart says XL is for 16-18 year old's which my son is not big at all for a 12 year old. I hope this helps.”
“While the jacket is very nice and seems well made, the sizing chart is nowhere near accurate. My son is 12 yo and average sized. I first ordered a Youth L based on the size chart and it was way too small. I exchanged for a Youth XL which was also too small. I finally exchanged for an Adult S which ended up way too big. There are no sizes in between which is disappointing.”
