“I have big hands, and I'll always order 2X gloves when available. I did with these, and it's still a major chore getting them on and off my hands. The zipper jumped track the first time using them. Will not realign. Not a total deal breaker though, I just expect better quality from Aftco.”
“Put these on and unzipped the right hand glove and zipped it back up and it came off track and would not line up and not able to use the zipper now . Second pair doing this so I’m returning them for a refund give up on the quality of this glove”
“I tried the gloves on when I received them. The zipper on right glove split wide open.Getting a refund. The main part of glove seems well built but zippers very cheap. If you plan on zipping gloves all the time I would not recommend these gloves”
“When these arrived I tried them on, I have big hands and heavy wrists, so, finding a glove that will fit is kinda tough, they were snug as expected but not tight.
The zipper on the cuff broke out right out of the box. I emailed Aftco and was able to speak with someone that day. They asked for pictures of the damages, and they day, a new pair was sent out with no further questions or hassles.
I am a fly fishing guide in the white river region of north Arkansas. The bulk of my time on the water is spent either rowing the boat or untying knots or rigging up with new flies... The fingerless gloves keep my hands warm enough to row and run the motor and still lets me have dexterity enough to do the real work of keeping clients on the fish.
They have a grip type stuff in the crook of your hand which hits the oar handles and tiller handle perfectly, even in the driving rain, I can grip them with ease.
Even when showing clients how to fly cast, bring fish in, and keeping hands wet to handle the fish long enough for an unhook, these gloves are perfect! I will absolutely buy another set when they wear out! I spend an average of 310 days a year on the rivers here...

“These gloves are great for winter fishing here in coastal NC. I kayak fish most every day and these gloves have been much better than what I was using. I get full dexterity and although my finger tips can get cold when wet, the warmth in the rest of my hand more than makes up for it. My hands, according to their sizing chart, are right in between L and XL. I got the L and at first they felt a bit tight but now they have loosened up beautifully and fit perfectly. I did receive a pair of gloves out of the two that I ordered that had a manufacturing defect in the zipper. I contacted Aftco customer support and they send a replacement pair that are perfect.”
