“The gloves are warm and flexible. That said I used them blackfishing and the finger tips fray and get punctured too easily by hooks and crabs. Basically unusable after one try if you want water proof.”

“The breakwater gloves are very warm gloves,but they definitely are very prone to getting snagged on everything.. Hooks, fish mouths and just about anything else will stick to these gloves and cause a hole. Still very nice gloves even though they got some downsides.”
“The gloves fit very well and one of the two is truly waterproof. The right glove, however, leaks through the seam between the thumb and index finger. I will be seeking to have a replacement sent. If the replacement proves to be waterproof my rating of the product will improve significantly.”
