“These are my favorite shorts for hiking and fishing. Almost daily, I hike or fish in the desert southwest. These shorts are nylon so they dry quickly after sweating up a long section of trail or getting them wet in the river or lake. The pliers pocket works well for a folding knife. I also like that the inseam is short enough for ventilation which is important on desert hikes.”
“First off let me say, I love AFTCO products and I own several items from shorts to hats to outerwear and everything in between. AFTCO is the only way to go. That said, I really wish you guys would brings back the cyberfish hybrid shorts. Here are my reasons:1. Made with that great stretch material,2. Water wicking, sunblock protection, stain resistant ( all the standards you’d expect with an AFTCO product) 3. Elastic waistband with drawstring AND ZIPPER FLY 4. Standard two side pockets 5. Locking waistband claspI still own like 4 pair but they are getting beat up with use. These were the best shorts on the market and there’s nothing else like it. Please bring these shorts back!!!!”

“AMAZING!!!!!! I have been looking for this level of quality and functionality since E&B Marine stopped carrying their shorts. And AFTCO are BETTER!!!! They are short enough that you can step up on to high places, they are more durable than any short I have ever worn and I rock climb, fly fish, fox hunt (always out at the barn working and climbing on stuff and working in the dirt. I refinish Teak furniture. I am sitting on the ground, climbing up stairs with chairs and tables in my arms and nothing hinders my range of motion of stepping up on to decks etc. Sitting in rock driveways oiling the chairs and tables. These shorts are TOUGH. I mean really tough!!! Huge massive tough. I climb through fences and dig in the dirt, I get tired and sit in the dirt. Nothing has caused wear on these magnificent shorts. Imagine Dennis the Menace in these shorts. That's me. All over the place and these things hold up to everything. I am in the water, I kayak, I fly fish and in the warmer weather, I am just wearing these shorts. I sit on rocks in the rivers while I change flies. I am a three year old in shorts.
