“I am susceptible to skin cancer. I now wear long sleeve shirts any time I am outside in the sun. Your Performance Shirt does an excellent job of keeping me covered. What I really like is the fact that fully covered does not mean I'm hot and steamy underneath. It breathes well, is light and comfortable, and stays dry even when I do sweat. Can’t ask for more than that.”
“Jason Christie knew what he was doing when designing this shirt. It is perfect for tournament days when there is little to no wind and the sun is high in the sky. The hat pocket built into the hood causes the hood to wrap around the face for better sun coverage but doesn't obstruct vision and allows plenty of breathing room. If you're someone that doesn't like to wear a sun mask this shirt will give you many of the benefits of one without having something covering your nose and mouth.”
“I'm on the water 3-5 days a week and have been wearing the Barracuda Geo Cool as my primary fishing shirts for over a year. I love the material but always carried a separate sun mask for better sun coverage. This shirt does that and more. The mask doesn't sit too tightly around the neck when not wearing it and the hood provides the additional cover you need on those hot bluebird sky days on the water. The cuffs are a little snug but it's perfect to keep them from riding up while fishing. I love the traditional AFTCO performance material but when it's 90+ out the Barracuda Geo Cool material is a must. Can't wait they're back in stock so I can order several more!”
“So far I have used the Jason Christie Hooded Performance Shirt about 15 hours on and off, in direct hot sun without using sunscreen except for the backs of my hands and nose and cheeks. ( I am fair skin and burn easily ) I must say I am most favorably impressed with the shirt, it is very comfortable, light weight, good air circulation and most important not a hint of sunburn...If there is a slight breeze it almost feels like you are standing under a shade tree (well almost)....
