“I can't praise Aftco and it's product,enough. I'm not a fisherman, but I am an avid recreational freediving spearfishing enthusiast. Living in S.E Florida, when it comes to clothing, less is better and I abide to that. Recently I purchased a pair of camo cargo shorts from Aftco and I couldn't be happier. I've since purchased 2 more pairs in different colors and love them all. Honestly I was a bit hesitant about the cost but I'm a firm believer in, you get what you pay for. This certainly applies to Aftco apparel and not only that, but a portion of my purchase money goes twords helping the conservation of our Ocean. That's a win,win deal for me and I'm glad I got 3 pairs. Now I can wear them all week long while enjoying the comfort and SPF enhancements provided. I'm hooked!”
“Now that the Chinese Virus has exposed how poorly the Chinese treat the rest of the world, I'm disappointed to find out Aftco products are made in China - anywhere else, almost, would be better. The pliers pocket is too close to the pocket above it - the pliers pocket needs to be moved lower on the leg. I experimented with one pair; removed the velcro on the pliers pocket and exiting and entering the pocket with the pliers works much better. The trade of of having it vs not is a no brainer.Lastly, making the material dry faster would be a huge benefit - vs the HUK products I use, AFTCO shorts take much longer to dry...”
“I recently purchased two of the Stealth Fishing Shorts. I didn't heed the advice of a couple other reviews stating that these can run small. I purchased these in my typical waist size, but had to return them for the next size up. Those fit well and are very comfortable. Spent three days on the water putting them to the test and I'm very happy with them. They are lightweight and have ample depth and room in the pockets...and hold a mobile phone very well. I really appreciate the pliers pocket as I tend to use those often. They have some stretch in the length, but not so much in the width, however, I think this helps make them more comfortable when moving around, bending down, etc. on the boat. My only complaint, and it's really a nit pick, is that the velcro on the rear pockets is too small and had a tendency to detach itself.”
“I like these shorts. The fit is almost perfect. Wish they are slightly longer because I'm tall. Pockets are great including the plier pocket. I didn't give 5 stars because the button stitches broke on the waist. I only wore them twice just casually around the house. Other than that thses are great shorts”
“In just a few words commercial grade shorts for commercial fisherman with the looks of a yacht jockey. Have worn a few other brands that were adequate too good. The difference is these are great!”
