“I use these shorts to paddle my OC1. I like them because they are a little roomier than board shorts and they have a lot of pockets that really work. I’ve also come to like shorts that use a belt instead of just a draw string.”
“I’m a fishing guide, so these were purchased to be my go to work shorts after another manufacturer discontinued theirs. So far, they seem pretty solid, and by solid I mean stiff! I’m hoping that the material softens with wear and wash, though. The only other changes I would make would be to eliminate the ‘flaps’ on the back pockets and change the pliers pocket closure to a plastic snap instead of Velcro. With fishing, if you have exterior flaps or buttons on your clothes (like some other PFG), something WILL get caught on it - cast nets in particular. In regards to the pliers pocket, accessing the pliers becomes annoying with the Velcro [doing its job] by keeping the pocket closed. I’d rather have the option of a snap where I could leave the pocket ‘open’ for quick retrieval and return of my pliers. Otherwise, good shorts so far. Time will tell on the stiffness of the material, but I hope it relaxes a bit. I also like that there are in between sizes available. I purchased 35’s as well as 34’s, just in case. ????”
“The Stealth Fishing Shorts and now my number one favorite shorts, not only for fishing but for daily wear. They a comfortable and have great pockets in all the right places. As a matter of fact when I received the first pair that I purchased along with other fishing shorts that were on sale and cost less, I sent the other shorts back and paid the difference to have 3 pair of Stealth.”
“When I am shopping for clothing for a day on the boat fishing, I look for comfort, function, style. These shorts deliver on all of the above, the are true to size designed by fisherman for fisherman, functional and durable. When shopping for clothing for fishing sometimes it is hard to to spend $$$ on items that do not endure, these shorts are not that. They are tough, and have been stain resistant so far, they have been worth the investment.”
“I am a 33 waste and not a 32 or 34 so thank God that they have these in 33's as they fit perfectly everywhere. The materiel is rugged and feels nice. I will be taking these on a 8 day long-range trip this september and am sure they will hold up.”
