I usually purchase my outerwear in XL to accommodate heavier layers in Michigan’s spring and fall climates. In the Reaper I needed XXL. While fishing in Alabama in a cold spring weather pattern it was absolutely the best for wind protection that I’ve owned, however, when some light rain moved in, it definitely was not water resistant. Pretty much disappointed after that experience. But if your looking for wind protection and comfort in cold/cool conditions I would definitely recommend this.

This is a heavy duty hoodie with a great fit and bonus face mask for those colder days. Would have given five stars but is not as windproof (as advertised) as I would have liked.

I originally ordered a large and returned it for an XL just to have a little extra room under the jacket. I’m highly impressed with how warm and comfortable the jacket is. Aftco makes an amazing line of products and I recommend them to everyone.

The Reaper Windproof Pullover is a really well made pullover. I haven't fished in it yet, but from walking around town, it's pretty comfortable in 45F temperatures with a 10mph wind, with only a t-shirt under it. Any colder and I'd probably want a long-sleeve base layer under the pullover. The pocket is a little low for my liking. Besides the pocket being a little too low, the only other real issue I have with the jacket is that I honestly don't see where this fits in my fishing line-up. Any day I'm on the lake when it's cold or there's a chance of rain, I'm typically wearing my bibs. It's too heavy to wear under my bibs, and too inconvenient to get on and off to where over my bibs. The jacket is a little too bulky to be a regular pullover I wear on walks. The R1 Techface from Patagonia fits my needs much better; however, in terms of quality, the AFTCO is every bit as nice.
