“The jacket is made of good quality material and is of course nice and warm. The windproof feature makes it a great jacket for those days that the wind tries to tear through you. There are a few annoying things that need to be mentioned. First, the size is really tight in comparison to other jackets. Trying to put this on over your head and with it being tight in chest is difficult. It makes it tough to have a layer underneath. The hood is way too large. If you pull it forward, the hood goes down over your eyes. Even with a hat it is hard to keep it centered on your hat. There is no drawstring in the waist, so wind can easily come up from the bottom. One other thing is that I wish there was some way to take out (zipper?) the mask part. In the cold when you nose is running it doesn't take long for the mask to get soiled. They only way to clean it is wash the whole jacket.”
“The quality is very good, but expected. One big factor that was a HUGE let down was that it doesn't come with a sinch cord for the bottom of the jacket. I guess I assumed it did being wind proof. What good does wind proof do when wind is getting up the inside of your jacket from underneath all the time, renders jacket and its other features useless. I just felt like this is a huge option left out that other lesser manufactures are doing. Also, if your anything other than a skinny jean type of guy, then go with a size bigger EXPECIALLY if your going to layer underneath. If it wasn't Aftco, I'd give it one star.”
