“I used it for ice fishing when it was -8 with 30 mph winds. I put it over my normal jacket and it was completely windproof. I let my buddy use it the next morning and he bought one that day. I really like the option to use the jacket with or without the neck gaiter. I have the pullover style and that was my only complaint. They do run a tad large but not enough to size down. Way to go AFTCO!”

“Purchased this jacket along with several other products for the upcoming fishing season. The weather here in NC has been unusually cold. Down in the mid 20’s and wind blowing A LOT. I wore this for the 1st time the other morning getting my boat ready to go. 26 degrees and blowing 15-20 from the N. Let me tell you this thing is the REAL DEAL! Kept my core toasty warm with just a long sleeve T-Shirt underneath. The built in mask along with the hood kept my ears and face protected from the winds and warm as well. I switched to my Hydronaut suit before getting out on the water but really think so could have just went with bibs and this jacket! Another great product from the only gear you’ll catch me in. “Before I start this review, I need to say I have not used this jacket for it's intended purpose. It's February in Indiana so I have not been able to hit the water yet. I can say that this jacket will be exactly the piece of equipment I was looking for. I'm 6'2, 220lbs and I ordered XL and the fit is great, it's very comfortable and I have no doubt it will function as an outer layer which will deflect wind and water come derby time. I wore this jacket to clear a foot of snow with the gaiter on and I stayed completely warm and dry. This jacket alone will not be warm enough on 20-40 degree days but if you layer under, it's perfect. Light, flexible, and element resistant is what I was personally looking for. It can be worn anywhere, anytime. It's nice looking and the ability to put the gaiter behind your neck is perfect when you don't need it. I had high expectations and they were exceeded. Another great piece of equipment for an anglers arsenal from AFTCO!”
