“Jacket meets the standards set by AFTCO in all areas except that the sleeves are too tight. A jacket is usually meant to be worn over clothing to keep warm. That will be difficult with the sleeves as tight as they are. Somewhat dissatisfied with this item.”
“Excellent wind and rain protection. Face mask stays out of the way if not needed. Fits a little on the larger size for easy movement and layering if needed. I'm 5'11" and 190lbs so large sweatshirt underneath is ideal as a base layer.”
“The feel of the jacket is pretty lightweight on you, not too heavy feeling. I had the opportunity to where it twice now in 28-35 F weather with winds of 10-15, gusts to 20 on the ocean. Kept me warm, I was also wearing three other layers, wool long sleeve top + fleece (AFTCO 1/4 zip - Sundown) + full zip fleece hoodie. Was able control my comfort by unzipping whatever as needed as the day warmed a little with the sun. Very happy with my purchase. The fit is a little snug, especially in the arms with the extra layers. I am 6' and weigh app. 225 lbs. I originally bought the 1X but this was too tight, would not be able to layer anything but one top under it. Haven't had the opportunity to where it in the rain yet. The "fit rating" graph would not move when I tried to give my rating, I would rate it as a little too small.”
