“This jacket has been used in the variable Montana weather for a year now. I use the jacket for skiing, snowshoeing, and has been a great everyday wear. Having a jacket that cuts the wind and is still slightly large enough for another layer is just what I need. Downside is that it does everything well but does not excel at one specific thing. It does bead off water and can handle rain but after a while it gets heavy and soaked but it will keep you dry. Because of the added insulation it does not pack well and is heavier than most shells. The cuffs could be a better design and the gator is hard to use (Have to take jacket off) etc. Overall the jackets decent for the price.”
“Ordered a large but it was very tight through the shoulders, so I gave that one as a gift. I will say Aftco rep was very accommodating if I had wanted to return it. I ordered a second jacket in xl (not on sale). I wish the fleece lining was a little heavier and the hood a little deeper but it is a very nice lightweight jacket.”
