“For my purposes (removing stains from a wooden kitchen worktop and a wooden bench) this kit provided plenty of crystallised acid - I've got virtually all of it left. The acid removed both water stains and ring marks left by metal cans excellently, albeit needing a repeat application on more severe stains. Some guidance on disposal of the acid would be good - we neutralised with baking soda and put down the drain. The rubber gloves in the kit were useful, but marrigolds would have worked too.”

“I didn't receive the free safety kit but I have mixed the solution based on the instructions and found that it cleans my green oak timber very well. Leaving it for approx 2 hours has meant most stains have been removed without a lot of scrubbing.”

“Bought this to remove serious black stains on my oak flooring from water damage caused by leaking air on unit and leaking radiator. Some stains were brown others jet black like spilled ink. It worked brilliantly. Now all I need is some finishing oil to restore the lustre”

“I needed to remove some black staining from a wooden worktop, and had read online that this would be a good remedy, but although I applied the crystals (in water as directed) several times, and once at double strength, it didn't really work and I have had to resort to sanding. Also, it would be good to have a smaller container available. I have most of it left over and no use for it.”
