Rystix Exterior Penetrating Oil is a low film build, deep penetrating moisture resistant timber sealer.ÂSpecially manufactured for timber decking this deep penetrating oil will not peel or flake, crack or blister and has no equals, it is buy far the best decking oil money can buy. It penetrates into the surface of the timber giving a water repellent durable coating. It also has a high resistance to fungal attack through the action of approved fungicides and biocides.Â It dries slowly to form an attractive silk-matt sheen which enhances the appearance of the original timber. Suitable for application to any softwood or hardwood including timber with a high natural oil content or timber that has been treated with wax based products.ÂColours available Mahogany, Oak & Cedar Rystix penetrating Oil is also suitable as an economical protective coating for exterior doors, windows, fascias, fences and all woodwork which is likely to be exposed to the weather.ÂNote: We recommend that prior to the application of Rystix Penetrating oil the decking timbers are cleaned throughly with WOCA exterior cleaner or Osmo decking cleaner and all end grain on your timber decking is sealed with End Grain Sealer after the application of the penetrating Oil. Coverage- 12-20 sq mtr per litre per coat, (depending on porosity of the timber), min 2 coat application. “We had used the same product, although the Clear variety, previously, and were pleased with its coverage and penetration, far better than other oils. I was disappointed not to be able to find the Clear product when ordering this time, has it been discontinued? I hope the 'Oak' variety will do just as well, fingers crossed. The weather has not been suitable to use it yet.”

“Really want to write this review and share..... I have used this product ever since my Hard Wood Decking was first installed 3 years ago, and love the finish, the big plus is that it NEVER FLAKES - as it ages so it ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD. This year I couldn't get to my retailer so bought a 'big brand' after a few brush strokes I realised it was less 'oil' and more 'plastic' so stopped - worried that it would flake -so waited until I could buy this product. Job is done and my decking is BEAUTIFUL! WOULD NOT USE ANY OTHER PRODUCT.”

“Absolutely brilliant product. Seemed expensive at the time, but went a long way. I have treated a 3m x 3m decked area, pergola of the same size, and 9' x 12' summer house, and still have a quarter of a tin left! It went on easily with a brush, with no overlap problems, and washed off skin with little effort where I was a bit careless. It's a lovely oil too, not thinned with lots of white spirit (or whatever the cheap brands put in to make it like water, rendering it next to useless in the process). Last year I bought a terrible water-based product which didn't 'do what it said on the tin' and was a nightmare to apply with terrible results. I ruined my teak furniture with it and only wish I'd found Rystix sooner. In summary - fantastic. Well worth the money, and I will DEFINITELY be buying again.”
