Fiddes Button Polish is manufactured from best quality button shellac, rich and golden in appearance, button polish is traditional french polish producing a slightly warmer appearance and is a firm favourite with antique restorers and cabinet makers.ÂPreparation is as always extremely important and special attention is recommended to achieve the desired finish. Fiddes range of Shellac Polishes are ideally suited for application on top of NGR, Vandyke and Naptha Wood Stains.ÂApplication: by Polishing Mop or rubber.Drying time: approx 20-30 minutes, coverage approx 8 sq meters per litre, the number of coats required will depend on the type of timber and finish required, minimum 3 coats but can be as high as 6 coats.Thinners: Finishing Spirit / Methylated Spirit.NB.
