Rustic Oil is solvent-borne, impregnating urethane hardening oil. For renovating and maintaining internal oil-treated timber floors and internal woodwork .ÂThe perfect oil for solid timber kitchen work surfaces.ÂJunkers rustic oil treatment adds a deep warm glow to timber surfaces, enhancing the natural grain and structure of the wood. Junckers Rustic oiled floors are very hard-wearing and is the only oil recommended for commercial areas, other manufacturers do not recommend using their oils on commercial flooring. “Used this product when we first had our beech wood kitchen worktops installed 18 years ago but, being busy with a young family, we neglected to maintain it as well as we should. Also used some inferior products that didn't give such a consistent and durable surface. However, a light sanding off of the other products and an application of Junckers Rustic Oil has the worktops looking like new. It does harden to a varnish-like finish, so be careful to wipe off any surplus oil and avoid drips onto other surfaces, or you'll have to scrape it off later! Other than that just follow the instructions of the tin for a great result.”

“Thanks v much for the quick supply of Junckers oil recently. Strangely not available much over the counter in SW London. Last time we did our kitchen surfaces with Junckers was ca 8 years ago (!) and it has good staying power. Just a few dents with black mould. Chris Sanctuary Kingston upon Thames.”

“I have used this product on my pine work surfaces since my kitchen was installed 12 years ago. It protects the wood and makes the surface repel water. It only needs doing every 6 months or so and it make the wood look like new. It is possible to remove any marks you get on the work surface by sanding away the mark and applying the oil. Excellent product.”
