Osmo UV-Protection-Oil (410) is a satin-matt, clear finish for interior and exterior joinery applications (it is not however suitable for flooring application.)It is a natural oil based and micro-porous finish, will not crack, flake, peel or blister.ÂCan be Âused as a final finish after staining and is compatible with most good quality wood stains, prolonging the renovation time significantly. However, when used as a complete finish by its self on bare timber (min 2 coats) it blocks the greying process by UV-Protection factor 12 in comparison to untreated wood. For treatment of bare exterior timbers it is highly recommended to treat the timber first with Osmo W R basecoat.Supplied in a clear finish only, for other wood coloured finishes see Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain.Osmo UV Protection Oil 410 contains no active ingreadients and is more suitable for interior use thanÂUV Protection Oil 420 Extra which does contain active ingredients.Very high coverage at 24 sq meter per litre per coat, minimum two coat application on bare timber and one coat on previously treated timbers.Available in .75L and 2.5L containersFor more information on preparation and application methods, health and the environment see the technical data sheet in the downloads tabÂFor further information on exterior wood care and treatments, see our guide on exterior wood finishing in the left hand column
