“We got this to try and help me drink water while I was pregnant, because that was a serious battle for me. This made it so I could actually stay hydrated for the rest of the pregnancy. I still use it because I love it.”
“Okay hear me out. The concept for this thing is a cool science project but that's it.
With that being said, here is my honest opinion/review. Take it for what it is.
The flavors are just okay and not great. Some are better than others.
Now imagine if you will, drinking from a broken straw, I'm sure most people have. This is EXACTLY what you are doing with this bottle system. Only there's a flavor packet attached to said straw. This is not only frustrating when trying to drink but also very annoying. You will also suck down massive amounts of air with the water you do get down. Again, very annoying and potentially harmful to some people out there who have sensitive intestines. I am not one of them. It just gave me gas and the burps big time. Just ANOTHER annoyance from this thing.
The bottle itself seems to be of good quality. However, the lid is kind of cumbersome and is a hassle to get back on correctly without some effort. Removing the cap/straw portion to refill the bottle(which you will be doing a lot) can be difficult for people with mobility issues in their hands.
If I knew then what I know now that I wasted the money on this water bottle, I would have just bought a new water bottle that doesn't have a broken straw in it. Or better yet, NO straw.
Save your money and buy a water bottle with a built in infuser if you need natural flavor in your H2O. They are MUCH cheaper and use actual fruit you can eat. Not a fake fruit scent magically tasted through science.
Overall, I am not satisfied with my purchase but it is what it is. No returns. At least now I have a cool magic trick to show people.
