About AKRacing Australia:

AKRacing has come a long way since their inception in 2001, where their focus was solely on the production of race car seats. The AKRacing brand was previously known as AK Seat. Fast forward to 2008 and AKRacing now specializes in producing premium and ergonomic gaming and office chairs and equipment.

The AKRacing brand was introduced into the Australian market back in 2015, where they continue to operate out of the leafy green suburb of Kirrawee. AKRacing now has distributors all over the world - America, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Tahiti and Europe, just to name a few.

Something that sets AKRacing apart from their competitors is that they do 100% of their own designs, R&D, product development, testing and quality control. AKRacing highly guarantee their products, as they manufacture every single part, which means that they do not have to source these components from other suppliers, allowing them to ensure the quality is always consistent.

Currently AKRacing Australia offers their chairs in 3 different materials, which feature across 9 different chair series, boasting an impressive range of over 45 different chairs in total.

Overall quality of the parts is fantastic, it feels very durable and strong. The adjustments on the back rest and arms are excellent too

My wife stole my first one as it helped with her dodgy back (that was being worsened to the point where she was a hunched over cripple limping everywhere) and she wouldn't give it back.... I was sad until I got a brand new MAX chair - lets face it, I knew it would be good and likely last as long as my old chair (four years and counting of happy happy times) but this one I can literally sit in cross legged which at over 6ft and built like a brick shithouse is no light feat for any chair to accommodate! AK is my go to company for my chairs, I didn't even bothering to look around for my last purchase, I knew what I wanted and wasn't disappointed - also the guys there are really cool and happily answer even the most tedious of questions!

A great chair, only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is it came with some cosmetic damage, the box wasn't damaged so it didn't happen in transport. Other than that it is a quality product that I would definitely recommend

chair was easy to assemble, solid and strong, one bolt was loose and had to pull packaging apart to find it. Also the swivel on the arm rests is quite loose and the arm rests them selves are very hard .Also just a personal one being 198CM tall the head pillow is way to low to use

The chair seems well constructed and is generally comfortable with the head/neck support at the exact height I like, though I will note 3 areas I would like to improve for my personal comfort, these note being a 'slam' against the chair, just personal preference that may help other tall people when looking for their new chair. I would like the ability to have at least another 10cm of chair height, either with a longer stroke piston or just having the base hold it higher up, its max height is too low for me. I can't imagine who would ever buy a "Max" chair and use the lowest piston height as it is. [Note this seems to be a problem across the industry, I couldn't find any chair with a max. height that I wanted] I would like if it's max. forward tilt angle was increased by about 5-10 degrees to improve the comfort when sitting forward by not making the angle between my legs and torso as acute. [Having a higher seat would also help this] Add 5cm thick memory foam down the back and across the seat to improve support and reduce high pressure points. Due to my back injuries I've added my own memory foam to aid my comfort.
