“Pros: Meant for smaller people which is incredibly difficult to find a chair for someone like me at 5'0'' and 125lbs. Its overall quite comfortable and I can sit all the way back in the chair and my knees actually bend at the edge of the chair- not just behind. The color is very rich and the fabric is incredible soft and comfortable. Cons: The problems arise with the armrests and the lumber pillow. The armrests physically don't move close enough for me to use comfortably while typing and I have the posture of Investigative Tarzan if I try to use them. They should ideally line up with the line of the seating cushion but there is roughly 6 inches from my sides to the inner edge of the armrest. The back pillow definitely feels like it belongs on a larger version. It's hyper-arching my back and I'm considering not using it all together, it needs to be about half as thick and 3 inches shorter to be comfortable. Right now, the bottom is resting below my hips and the top ends half way up my ribs. Its a terribly uncomfortable back pillow that could be so much more comfortable if it was just a little bit smaller.”

“I've had this chair for just about two weeks now, and I do like it a lot. I'm 5'3" and slim overall, and this chair is just the right size- I can very comfortably reach the floor and sit without feeling cramped. The PU leather is very nice and the construction feels solid. I do, however, have a few issues with this chair: First of all, the lumbar pillow is a little too big. But that's kind of the issue with lumbar pillows in general- they're made to be one-size-fits-all, and lumbar support really isn't a one-size-fits-all sort of deal. But they could stand to make the pillow a little smaller to complement the smaller size of the chair and the size of the intended audience. Second of all, this chair would really benefit from having 4D armrests. The armrests are set very wide, almost too wide considering where the shoulder support is, and are pretty much useless when I'm on the typing on the computer. I have elbow tendonitis and these armrests unfortunately exacerbate my pain. I will be looking to replace the factory armrests with some 4D ones eventually. Overall I like the chair and recommend it, but it could definitely use some improvements.”

“Perfect for my size - I am 5'2", 105 lbs, and struggled to find reviews of chairs that were suited for smaller people. I was using an office chair beforehand and would be in pain the next day after a stream. Now I am able to sit at my computer and stream for hours (with some breaks) without pain.”

“The chair came quickly with no problems. It was pretty easy to set up and feels like good quality. It’s sturdy and my back has been a lot better since switching from my bed to it.”

“Bought this for my 4’11 daughter. She loves playing video games and desperately needed a chair upgrade. It fits her perfectly and she says it is very comfortable. It was easy to assemble and the quality is very nice. I would definitely recommend this product.”

“I'm so glad AKRacing made this chair! As a 5'4" gamer, I've never been comfortable sitting on regular office chairs or gaming chairs for long periods of time. I've had several friends sit on it since I bought it, and everyone says the same thing: "Whoa, my feet actually touch the floor!" My 6' partner also sits comfortably in it, and even steals it on occasion. I'm also a big fan of the low profile and the more understated look. I want a chair that frames me, not one that dominates the space and upstages everything. tl;dr: this Cali girl loves the California chair.”
