So far (I only just put it together this evening) it seems very comfortable. It was a bear to put together, however, as the instructions are awful. One of those deals that's all pictures (and terrible ones at that), no words. Physically, the small people for whom it is intended might have difficulty assembling it alone. (I did, but it was hard to tell how much was size and how much was the fact that I have a disability.) Only one screw didn't line up right, wouldn't go in, which is pretty good based on my experience over 67+ years of putting stuff together! I stripped it trying, and now a plastic gear cover is loose, but it is not a critical part so it's cool. My only real complaint about it is that this chair is supposed to be for small people but I can barely reach the arms! They are useless when keyboarding. I can rest my left arm comfortably if I'm not using it for anything, and the right one is OK when I'm mousing, but. And lastly, in the next iteration of this chair, I think it needs a tilt option. When I'm working, I'd like it aimed a bit forward of where it is. Yeah, I know. It's a gaming chair. And I'm an office worker. But I went with it because it was the only one I could find designed for small people (I'm 5'3", 103 lbs) that was anywhere close to affordable. None of this may be an issue for a hardcore gamer, but a college student who's using the chair for both work and play might care. Seems like a good chair, though. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is those darned instructions. I've got a bachelor's degree, two master's, and a doctorate and it took me two hours--most of that time spent just figuring stuff out. I'm guessing they didn't have someone who did not know anything about the chair beta test those instructions ;-)

Hi Virginia, We're happy to hear you find the chair comfortable and sorry the instructions were not clear enough. The manual contains a QR code, which will take you to our website for full instructions and even an assembly video for convenience: https://www.akracing.com/pages/assembly-instructions

I've been using the chair for two weeks now. It is well made of good quality materials, nice looking and fairly easy to assemble. At 5'3" I can just reach the ground without requiring a foot rest at the lowest seat height setting. My biggest complaint is the lumbar support pillow, which seems to be the same size as all of their other chairs, making it too big for this smaller chair and a smaller framed person. Now that I look more carefully at the pictures of the chairs, I can tell just by looking that the lumbar pillow is too large for this chair. It is 8.5" tall and 3" thick in the middle. When using it, my shoulders can't reach the chair back without creating an uncomfortably large arch in my back - so I've had to take it off. Unless they come out with a properly sized lumbar pillow, I'll have to see if I can find a different pillow from a different vendor that can attach to this chair, and it won't match, so that is disappointing.
