“I've owned this chair in my home office for several years now and the overall quality is of the core chair (not the arms) is exceptional, and has held up perfectly. The leather shows little to no sign of wear and practically looks brand new years later. That said, the arms are just terrible and are why this is a 3 star and not a 5 star review. The problem is that these multi-adjustable arms are cheap, plastic, and of poor precision. They wiggle and rattle and do not live up to the high quality of the rest of the chair. The plastic-covered foam armrests start splitting and peeling after a few years of use. This chair deserves higher quality, sturdy leather-covered arms that don't rattle and wiggle. If it weren't for the quality of the arms, I would own a second one of these chairs for my at-work office.”

“This is the best chair I have ever owned. For a decade I would go through one shoddy Costco bought chair a year until I invested in this one. I have had it for two and a half years now and love it. Unfortunately a part in the chair broke and became unusable, but I called the support number, they honored their warranty, and I had a replacement within a week. Great chair and, when something went wrong, great customer service. Can't recommend this chair/company enough.”

“Super comfy chair with great adjustability! I have used several racing-style chairs and I love how the Onyx is wide enough to not feel like its hugging your body the way many similar chairs do. It also has well above average padding for that style of chair which is really nice when stuck at the desk for too long. Assembly was also fairly straightforward (the instructions were for a similar chair but basically applied) and only took about 20 minutes to assemble.”
