“Overall - your product is very nice. I purchased as a gift. I do have three comments, however:
1. The type font is too small. I understand you are striving for a certain look with white space and a copy to photo ratio design idea which I truly appreciate as an artist and photo-buff myself, however, I really think it is too small and I have good vision, but have to put on my 1.0 power "readers" just to see it. I know this concept presentation is for all ages and you're probably trying to appeal to younger folks but many older people with less than perfect vision need to easily be able to enjoy as well.
2. I think you could solve part of this problem as well with a different font. I'm guessing you're trying to make it look like the script in the Bible - which appears to be Times New Roman, and I understand that but with this new style of presenting the Bible, I think a simple Arial or another style, maybe Verdana or something along those lines, would suit this presentation much better and its an easier-to-read script. I'm sure part of the issue is that there is so much "copy" and the challenge with the overall size of the books - which, I also think should be a little larger which would make them a little flatter - more "coffee-table-ish" if you will.
3. And this may speak to cost of production, but I think your photos are nice but would show much better on paper that had more of a slick coating.
Okay - all that said, the book is beautiful and will make an amazing gift. I'm so thankful I purchased it. I think what you are doing is SO important in sharing the Bible with people who have never been exposed to it. Thank you very much for your efforts. Blessings to you all - Charisa Little”
